ATLANTA — Bills getting vetoed Tuesday from this year’s legislative session include a statewide fund to help communities lure sports tournaments, insurance-company tax credits, creation of an agency dealing with aging Georgians and a pass for motorcycle riders who run red lights if their bikes don’t trigger pavement sensors.
Gov. Nathan Deal also nixed six bills dealing with individual communities, including Americus and Columbus, and the counties of Newton, Rockdale, Paulding and Schley.
