Two Aiken County school buses were struck by objects that damaged windows Wednesday afternoon.
About 1:45 p.m., while transporting students after early dismissal, someone struck the buses with a rock and a shot from a pellet gun, according to Aiken County sheriff’s Capt. Eric Abdullah.
No students were injured, and the incident is being investigated by the sheriff’s office.
“The front window of one bus was damaged, and the back window of the second bus was damaged,” Abdullah said. “An investigation revealed the damage was caused by a rock and pellet gun.”
