Stocking up for his 2014 re-election campaign, Gov. Nathan Deal has reportedly raised about $550,000 during the first six months of this year.
Deal ‘s official report is due to be submitted later tonight to the Georgia Government Transparency and Finance Commission.
But Brian Robinson, Deal’s chief of staff, confirmed the $550,000 figure.
The money includes an estimated $200,000 the GOP governor collected at a June 16 reception in Savannah.
